Mimani Iyar Chronicles: Pfft, looks better suited on ds but it could be very addictive.
Minigore: One of the top Iphone games comes to the psp in style….well, not in style but still, it’s coming to psp! Woot!
Modnation Racers: Wowza! It’s got all the main features of the ps3 version; character creation, level creation & even some new features! After Littlebigplanet, expectations are high!
Monster Hunter Portable 3Rd: One of the greatest psp games of all time is getting a sequel! Yeah, that’s right. And it’s looking amazing. You’d be a fool to miss out on this game.
The Third Birthday: Funny, the Parasite Eve games recieved a lot of praise but the series seemed to come to a dead end pretty soon. Seems that it’s still alive and headed towards only the psp!
Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker: I bet it’s the GOTY for handhelds. It’s officially MGS5, it’s having brand new Co-Op never seen before on any Mgs game before it. And the visuals are among the best ever seen on a handheld!
Prince Of Persia The Forgotten Sands: Ubisoft successfully ported the POP experience to psp two times before without a hitch (well almost). I expect this game will continue this trend.
.hack//Link: Looks like a fun dungeon crawler. I imagine it will have lots of customisation and a huge online community.
Resident Evil Portable: The amount of horror games on psp can be counted on one hand. Well at least we know that psp will be getting one brilliant new survival horror title that will make up for the lack of them.
Socom Fireteam Bravo 3: It’s almost like MW2 in third person mode. Maybe not quite as good but still, very fun! Only problem is the control really.
Valkyria Chronicles 2: VC1 was a ps3 exclusive, now the series is coming to psp with an official sequel, not a spin-off. Expect a great game.
Lunar Silver Star Harmony: Retro-style rpg. Beautiful locations and hopefully a decent story will make it a must-have for all rpg fans!

Assasins Creed Bloodlines PSP GamePlay Medium / High Quality US, June 2, 2009 – At Sony’s E3 2009 Press Conference, Sony confirmed that Assassin’s Creed on the PSP has a new name, and an official release date.
The portable versions of Ubisoft’s epic murder-for-hire series is now known as Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines.
The game is set for November 10 2009.
Sony Computer Entertainment today announced that an all new Assassin’s Creed game will be coming to the PSP in 2009. Furthermore, the company plans to issue a special PSP hardware bundle along with the game. The title will be exclusive to the PSP system, and is being developed by Ubisoft, who were responsible for the first console game. A handheld spinoff was released on the Nintendo DS in 2008, but it did not live up to the original in terms of sales.
In an official press release the company stated, “Assassins Creed PSP Entertainment Pack Ubisoft will debut an exclusive installment of the popular Assassins Creed franchise on PSP later this year. To commemorate this highly anticipated title, SCEA will launch a new bundle that includes the game, a Piano Black PSP, and other content that will be announced later.”
Wow, we have to say that this comes as a complete and total surprise. However, Assassin’s Creed was one of our favorite games from the consoles last year, so we are excited to see how this handheld version takes shape.

Sony has contended there is no PSP2 and they are telling the cold hard truth. There wont be a PSP2 coming for at least a couple more years. That doesnt mean that some new PSP hardware isnt headed our way soon enough. Think more aesthetic changes, more along the lines of DSLite but more substantial of a change. We here at PlayStation LifeStyle are ready to debunk or confirm some of the rumors that are floating around the net.
We are not at liberty to divulge our sources. Rest assured all will be revealed during E3.
Some of the details I cannot divulge, but we will try our best to let you know what it is, and what it isnt. We recently noticed PSPWorlds attempt at Separating Fact and Fiction regarding the PSP2, we call it an attempt because its pretty much all wrong.
Lets take a look at what PSPWorld calls Fact
UMD is dead. Sorry folks, UMD IS dead, they got this one right
Touch Screen. PSPWorld states that this is a given as this seems to be the trend the industry is heading towards. Well Sony boasts its Like No Other and that is the truth, Sony doesnt follow trends, it sets them. There will be NO touchscreen in the next PSP.
Monstrous Hardware Specs If that were the case, it WOULD be the PSP2, and the next PSP is NOT the PSP2, its not the PSP-4000 either. In fact its something entirely unique.
Now lets move onto their Fiction:
Release before Christmas 2009. We dont know an exact release date, but its much sooner than anyone is expecting. One thing we are sure of is that its definitely going to be before Holiday 2009.
Internal HDD. If UMD is dead, how exactly does PSPWorld think we are going to get our games on the new PSP? Sure Sony could pack in some form of memory stick with the new PSP, but that isnt practical. As Dave Perry has mentioned in the past, look for some type of solid state memory on board. It will also take some form of removable flash memory.
Phone included. They got this one right also, but it wasnt a hard guess. There will be no built in phone in the next PSP, however you can always use Skype.
Here is a few more things we would like to touch on.
Sliding Screen. They call this fiction, and unfortunately we cannot comment on this. We have to leave it at that.
Dual Analog Sticks. Nope, not happening, at least not until the PSP2 which this isnt. Adding a second analog stick would alienate the current PSP lineup, which is going to get much more robust later this year. A lineup, that will play just fine on this new PSP, which is based on current PSP tech.
