The major difference between this two is that .PTF does not need custom applications and only changes your icon and wallpaper, whereas, .CTF needs custom firmware. .CTF theme changes the whole outlook of the PSP and tends to be more interactive in comparison to .PTF.

If you would like to download the .CTF theme for your PSP without flashing, all you need to do is follow the same steps as before with the supplemental additional CXMB plug-in. After downloading the plug in and storing it in your memory card, what you need to do is download the . CTF theme under the same root where you stored your plug in, for instance, MSO:/PSP/Theme. After doing this you can enable the plug-in by restarting your PSP and applying the desired theme by going to Settings on your PSP.

By following these directions, you will finally have the PSP theme customized to your desire. Good luck with your PSP theme- free or customized!

OK, so I don’t own a Sony PSP myself but I do live with a PSP fan. I had started to think that my other half had some kind of OCD where he needs to keep his hands occupied. I’ve now learned that his gadgets, including his PSP are actually quite good and can now forgive him for spending hours attached to the thing! Although I don’t quite understand his talk of upgrading firmware to version 2 (should you really do it? Maybe not if you want to be able to play game downloads)or downloading a hack (lets your PSP do things it otherwise wouldn’t) there is one thing that I’m quite taken with!

PSP Wallpapers

Wallpaper to me used to be something you hang on walls when they have faults which need to be hidden and they’re simply not in a state to be painted. However, I now know wallpapers to be background images to use on your PSP (or other devices but let’s stick to the subject).

How do you get a PSP wallpaper onto your PSP?

One option is to use any photos that you may have. These could be of your family or from a holiday. However, they may not be the right size or end up squashed if you do try to re-size them I know this because my fella had a very fat photo of me on his screen. Of course, this was due to the re-sizing of the photo and not the all-inclusive package in Egypt! There are sites where you can download PSP wallpapers for free. The advantage here is that the wallpapers are the right size and you get a lot more choice than you would from your own holiday snaps! As well as the wallpapers featuring babes which my man finds most appealing you can download anything from the Simpsons wallpapers to South Park and from Music to Movie stars and if you cannot find what you’re looking for you can always email in a request.

Why flashing messes up your chickhen:
This is my theory why this happens. When you flash Example: your waves chickhen will no longer work. Why? Chickhen runs on the psp’s ram when you go to run the exploit the psp dosent have the required,enough, or programed to use for the exploit to work.
