I cant belive it but it actually worked. I dont know what VshMenu has to do with the whole thing…
I do know that if you put you PSP on Hold when the buttons arent working then the VshMenu pops up.
Isn’t that wierd… Im just glad i fixed that PSP

Update your Custom Firmware with this easy to do tutorial video. In this example I am going from 3.71 M33-2 to 4.01 M33-2, although this video gives direction on how to update to any cfw.

Hy guys this is just 4 enthusiasts. If you don’t like troubles get a GPS. This is my best advise, best whishes. Just 4 info, I used a slim PSP, but mapthis can be used with the fat too.
The GPS you can buy it at playasia.com or even probably at ebay.

You don’t have to have any problem with a custom firmware in your PSP.
Now you have to download GMDL to download maps for your region.

If you have GPS PSP-290 then hook it up. If you don’t have it you can search maps and directions anyway.
Finally go to http://getroute.nieko.net to download directions and addresses, just put the file into the COMMON folder or downloaded in your PSP directly and automatically you will have the directions in “POI look up”.
My GPS has problems fixing the satellites it has to be waiting about 10 minutes or sometimes it doesn’t pick up anything.
Well, first of all you have to find the way to make your PSP a “custom firmware” PSP. You can check www.psphacking101.com or youtube.com/skikarl those are good sites to beguin to understand the thing.
Basically you change the firmware made by Sony or the “Operating System” made by Sony to a “custom made Operating System” made by a hacker. This is not illegal as far as we know because we bay the hardware and we are just modifying it with a free licensed new operating system (OS).
Now you have to find your way. Basically you need a batery in service mode (not regular mode) and a memory stick with an special format with the installation files of the new OS. Check the guys I wrote down before.

If you have a question, send me a message through youtube. I have a busy schedule so I don’t check very often, but when I do, I try to answer most questions. I will IGNORE questions such as “where can I download the files???” or “what is CFW??” or questions that are ALREADY directly answered in the video and/or the description.
Also, most of you may be wondering why you need to have CFW already just to make these things, which only let you install CFW….it’s like a loop that you don’t know how to get into. Don’t ask me what the point is of making a pandora battery / magic stick if you already have CFW. It might be to help a friend.
For those of you that are watching this video and have a PSP with official Sony firmware on it, this video WILL NOT help you. Look else where on how to get custom firmware. There might be ways to get CFW on your PSP without a pandora battery. OR WHAT YOU COULD DO is purchase a pandora battery and magic memory stick off the internet and use it on your official firmware PSP to install custom firmware on it.
