My tutorial on how to install CFW 5.50 GEN-C/GEN D
This CFW lets you play any FW 5.55 or higher
I show you how to fully install this on your PSP
Its the same installation for GEN C and GEN D

Step 1) Download the file
Step 2) Extract the file (use winrar or any other preferred extracter)
Step 3) Plug psp into your PC
Step 4) Drag the 5.50.PBP File to the root of memory stick
Step 5) drag the UPDATE file into the GAME file of your psp
Step 6) Disconnect PSP
Step 7) Run the update from your memory stick in the game section

ENJOY!!!

*Note you Need a PSP that previosly has CFW on it to do this. Also DO NOT TRY if you have a psp 3000 because it will brick it. Do not try if you have? higher than PSP 2000 Motherboard TA-88V2*

How To Get Mac OS on your PSP

NOT A PORTAL ACTUALLY EMULATING MAC OS 8.1
Here I’m showing Macintosh 8.1 running on my PSP using Basilisk II The download link is at the bottom

Requirements:
*PSP with custom firmware or 1.5 firmware with Kxploit patched
*Memory Stick Pro/Duo with at least 305 MB

Installation:
1. Download Basilisk II PSP (Mac OS 8.1).zip from either server beleow.
2. Once it’s done open it.
3. Connect your PSP with the USB and go to USB Connection.
4. Copy or drag the PSP folder from Basilisk II PSP.zip to the root directory of the your Memory Stick.
5. When it’s done, disconnect USB.
6. Go to Memory Stick under Game.
7. Choose the game with the Mac icon on it.
8. When the program is loaded press O again to start emulation.

There! Macintosh 8.1 on your PSP!

Buttons:
Analog Stick – Mouse
Start – Keyboard
X – Click
[] – Enter
/\ – Quit
O – Close

How To:
Display in Full Screen
1. In the main menu, go down to PSP Specific Settings and press X.
2. Go down to PSP LCD Settings and press X.
3. Go down to Display Aspect Ratio, hold X and press Left or Right to change it to 16:9. To undo this, just do everything like above, change it back to 4:3.

Make Everything Bigger
1. In the main menu, go down to Graphics/Sound and press X.
2. When Screen Mode is highlighted, hold X and press Left until 512×384 comes up. To undo this, hold X and press Right until 640×480 comes up.
Done.

sometimes you’ll have the “UNSUPPORTED DATA” problem… it’s normal… you can either delete the video, or watch it in your computer/ps3 via usb cable… or you can aswell convert it in your computer to psp format…

How to install CFW 5.00m33 on psp WITHOUT pandora battery. on Firmware 5.03 (PART 1 OF 2)

Ok this is Part 1 of 2 of my turorial for how i installed CFW on my psp without a pandora battery
the things you will need are.
1. PSP (of course) you will need a fat or slim and lite psp. the 3000 version
and the version with the TA-88v3 mother board won’t work.
2. a mini USB cable (to connect the psp to the pc.)
3. a memory stick pro duo. (you know the one you put in the psp.
4. Firmware 5.03. if you have a lower firmware you can update to it but don’t update any further then firmware 5.03.

WARNING! Firmware 5.50 isn’t supported… yet.
ChickHEN and people are working on a ChickHEN version for 5.50 which is supposed to be coming out in june or something so when that happens you’ll be able to use time machine to downgrade to 5.03 to do this. just be patient,

you may also want to try turning off auto UMD and UMD cache and format the psp memory card before doing this.

and DON’T i repeat DON’T turn off your psp during the CFW installation. cause you WILL brick your psp! and have to buy a pandora’s battery to fix it.
you also don’t need any specific amount of battery charge. if you think you don’t have enough charge to last the install you can just plug in your ac charger thing.

IMPOTANT INFO ; MUST READ THIS!

1.the music plugin can only read mp3 files that have a sample rateof 44100 or lower :
click triangle on the mp3 and view its information…the psp should show you a whole bunch of info…scroll down then you will see the sample rate of that mp3 file. Now if its over 44100 then its no good. What you have to do is find a audio converter that will allow you to change the sample rate to 44100 nothing over. I recommend Xilisoft Video Converter Ultimate.

2. not al games are comptiable

3. deactivate the plugin before you
(pes select + L to deactivate the plugin /paused):
-launch a game
-go to sleep mode
-shut down device

4 you dont need the music_src file you can delete it

HOW TO USE ONCE’S SUCCESFULLY INSTALLLED:

MUSIC PLUGIN CONTROLS

L+select? = mute original game sound
SELECT+L =Play and Pause (pause is
SELECT+R =Playing SEQ
(plays normal)& RAND (plays random)

SELECT+left= previues track
SELECT+right =next Track
SELECT+quadrangle([]) = shows info
SELECT+triangle = CPU MHz up
SELECT+cross(X) = CPU MHz down
(cpu speed:mine is 333mhz)

COMMON PROBLEMS AND THERE SOLUTIONS:

1.WHAT TO DO IF IT DOSE NOT WORK IN GAME:

IF it only works in vsh/xmb menu and not in game here is what you must do to make it work in games:
A. go to usb mode
B. open the seplugins file
C. ad this line under the line(s) that are already there in the GAME.txt file:
ms0:/seplugins/music.prx
THEN SAVE THE TXT FILE!
C. if you not have a game.txtthen make it and ad this line:

ms0:/seplugins/music.prx

D. exit usb mode and go to recovery mode to plugins
E. enable al music.prx plugins
F. go to your game pres select + L and listen to your music :)

2.WHAT TO DO IF VSHMENU SHOWS UP BY SELECT :

A. enter to recovery mode
B. go to conficuration and disable use vshmenu
C. go back and exit recovery mode

3.WHAT TO DO IF IT DOSENT READ THE NEW MUSIC FILES:
A. put the files in music folder
B. then turn psp compleetly of hold the power button for 10 seconds
C. then fully reboot your psp and it wil detect the new files :)

How to play free ISO/CSO games on PSP 3000 HD

1. Download the files you need: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=FK1IR4CI
2. Check if you have Sony’s Firmware 5.03
3. Connect your PSP to the computer.
4. If you don’t have Sony’s Firmware 5.03 copy copy the UPDATE folder (you’ve downloaded) to the GAME folder of your PSP.
5. Run the ChickHEN easy installer program you’ve downloaded and install ChickHEN.
6. Cut or delete the SYSTEM folder of your PSP (you can restore it later)
7. Copy CFW Enabler to the GAME folder of your PSP
8. If you don’t have Sony’s Firmware 5.03 go to game and install it.
9. Now restore the default settings of your PSP
10. Go to Photo and open the folder ChickHEN
Check if your firmware it must be 5.03 ChickHEN R2, if it don’t, format your memory stick with your PSP and go back to step one.
11. Go to Game and open CFW Enabler 3.50.
12. Press Flash and Start.
13. Press select in the XMB (Top menu of the PSP)
14. Set the UMD ISO Mode to M33 Driver
15. Download a CSO or ISO PSP game and put it in the ISO folder in the Root of your memory stick.
16. Play Games for Free!!!
