this is the easiest way to setup and play ur cso/iso games on ur psp
no programs required
directions
u must have a hacked psp with custom firmware preferably 3.71m33+
u also need a 1GB+ memory stick
make a folder called iso on the root directory on ur memory stick. that is where ur psp folder is located but instead of putting it in the psp folder u put it beside it somewhere.
open iso folder and make sure u get a cso file of a game and put it in there. iso files are going to be too big so compress it using a iso compressor
after ur done disconnect ur psp from the pc and check if ur cso file is there. go to the game section on ur xmb menu and go all da way down to where it says memory stick. ur game should be there if its not ur file might be an uncompressed iso/cso meaning it might stil be rar. or zip. file.
this i am not so sure but it can also mean that u have to set ur plugins at the recovery menu when u hold the right trigger when turing on ur psp.
once it works get a umd and put it in ur psp it should load ur umd game. now go down again to ur memory stick folder in the game section and select ur cso game it should work.
the reason why u need a umd is becuase the psp uses the umd and transfers ur iso/cso file in it so u can play it. this does NOT affect ur umd in any way.
remember when playing ur iso/cso games DO NOT open ur umd latch otherwise u will f*ck ur psp.
this is much better than playing ur game using a umd since its faster.
don’t forget u need a big memory stick like a 2gb or 4gb or even more!!!
make sure ur psp is hacked meaning u dont use the official sony firmware
