   Yeah, you do in Elite Squadron. In Renegade Squadron it was optional. (Sometimes the autopilot would crash you though!) I think that Elite Squadron uses this to make the game more stable and possibly as a buffer zone between areas.

   lol! He needs to use the down button on the D-pad to cycle targets if he is having trouble! Most of the time I don’ have to use it though.
