Why won’t Vista detect my PSP under "Safely Remove Hardware" and how do I make it so it can?

I don’t like damaging my PSP, and I want to remove it safely…how do I make it so it appears on "Safely Remove Hardware"? Please, I need help!
My PSP shows up on everything else, (My Computer, Autoboot, etc.) just not "Safely remove Hardware…

If it is plugged in with a USB, it will. If its not then Vista isn’t seeing it in the first place.
