Hello, I am planning to buy a SONY PSP 3000 tomorrow and I want to know how to identify whether its PSP 2000 or 3000.Is there any information on the PSP pack or something like that.I know how to find it on the PSP but is there any information on its pack?Please can anyone tell me about this.

On the 3000, there is a button that has the playstation logo on it (PS).
It also has a MIC (:
On the PSP 2000, that button (on the left) under the screen is not round.
Also, the ring on the back of the 3000 is thinner.

You could look at the serial number on the bottom of the psp. Its says so.
also, a 3000 has a mic.
