How do I get the internet on my PSP to work?

I already have the password, but every time I try to go on, it always says that a connection error has occurred. The attempt to obtain the IP address timed out. Even though the signal is 100 percent. What should I do?
Upgrade to the latest firmware. I had the same problem before, but when I upgraded, the connection process went smoothly.
Try the new PSP Go, it has better connection and has good hardware preview from major gaming publications.

It’s because your internet is to slow or the PSP can’t acquire a connection to the internet this is most probably a firewall or indirect connection problem. Try making a new connection again and retyping the information.
