I have a windows 7 computer. I would like to download dvds, like for example monsters vs. aliens. I already own the dvd, so when I put it in my computer how do I download the dvd so I can put it on my psp ( in mp4 format ). Thanks .

What you need is a dvd ripper. It is a program that can rip dvds to various formats. And I personally prefer to use aimersoft dvd ripper since it supports various video & audio formats and a wide range of multimedia devices including PSP. And I usually use it to help me download dvd in MP4 format for my iPod. It worked so well and keep the high quality of dvds.

Download dvd movie to play well on psp, you should should convert DVD movie to the right psp mp4 movie on your computer, then transfer the mp4 movie to your PSP, the best movie format for PSP is mp4(avc/h.264 video codec, aac audio codec) movie, convert DVD movies to good quality psp mp4 movies, you can try RZ DVD COPY v4, it can convert video DVD to any video files or audio files, it can directly merge the output video file as one video file, then you can transfer the converted mp4 movie into your PSP and play well. You can yahoo or google search and download RZ DVD Copy, hope it can help you.
Please note: If you are using PSP1000, you should rename the converted avc mp4 file name to MAQxxxxx.mp4(xxxxx are any five number, such as 12345, etc.), then place the MAQxxxxx.mp4 to your PSP folder(MP_ROOT/100ANV01/MAQxxxxx.mp4).

You just need to convert your dvd or video to mp4-avc video at first, then copy the mp4 video to the "Video" folder in your psp memory stick, done.
