First impressions of the PSP Go. The video is in Dutch. Sorry, not in English! The gist of it: I got the PSP Go from Sony to do an early review. My main gripe is that my thumb gets a little sore because it gets stuck (just a tiny bit) between the plastic opening and the analog thumbstick.

How many types of sony psp are there out there? I found a few on craigslist and they advertise them as psp fat, psp slim, and etc. I want to know which is the newest version and what types of other ones are out there. Thanx.
You got the 1000 version (Fat) it’s the oldest then, you got the 2000 which is the (slim) the second oldest. The most recent and newest one is the 3000 which is the newest slim. That’s it. Good luck!!!
so wanna get the psp go but i already have classic UMD and i was reading something on the internet that said sony would do this …will they?
No they can’t if you don’t get caught.
hey i was thinking to buy an Sony PSP 3000 but someone suggested me that i should not buy that Sony PSP 3000 because its just waste of money he told me that you should buy Sony PSP GO it is releasing soon but he didn’t told me the releasing date. So if anyone of you knows the date of its release kindly answer me.
It’s set for a Oct. 1, 2009 release.
The PSP Go is not mean to replace the PSP. Sony’s current plan is to support both systems. Go doesn’t have a UMD drive, so it will not be able to play older PSP games unless Sony makes it available on PSN. Go will download games from PSN. The good news is that PSP games released after 10/1/2009 will also be available on PSN. Sony will probably also make older PSP games available for download on PSN.
I bought a psp slim last year and I want to keep it, so I was wondering if Sony would keep making UMDs for those of us who don’t have the Go.
They are still using the UMD format for the psp
