How To Use A PSP

A quick method for obtaining the yellow bulletproof patriot in the mission (false idols). A very easy vehicle to get compared to the helicopter in this mission. Best advice is to get the helicopter first before getting this so that you can have both vehicles from false idols easily.

This is a method for PSP only. It is apparently easier to get this on the PS2 because on PSP the vehicles on this mission are locked.

Do not go into pay’n spray with the yellow bulletproof patriot because you will lose the yellow colour for good.

A Pandora Battery Is needed for this to work

The magic memory stick is still usable as a regular memory stick after the mod, even without removing the custom firmware files.

I have a problem, every time I try to go online on my psp, it keeps saying "a connection error has occurred, the acces point was not detected" and it’s really annoying. Even when I make my OWN connection it says something about "WPA key" and i don’t know my WPA Key. I even put "none" for the security settings but I still can’t connect to the internet! Please help!

1. turn on your psp
2. Enable wifi by flipping the WLAN switch to the on position.
3. Select network setup from main menu, select network settings (press "X").
4. Select infrastructure mode.
5. Create a new connection.
6. Select scan to look for your WiFi network.
otherwise if you know all of your network settings, you can do it maually
7. Select your wifi networks SSID.
8. Enter your security settings(if applicable)(WEP, WEP TKIP, Shared Key).
9. Select "easy" in configure network settings to obtain ip address.
10. Confirm the settings.
11. Test the connection.
12. Go back to the main menu, select the broswer & enter a web address (www.youtube.com etc.). Your PSP’s internet is ready to be surfed out wirelessly.
13. the psp, unless you have a hack installed, will not be able to browse sites such as youtube, or facebook, or twitter because they require flash/java/enhanced memory[this is not the memory stick]it can however use facebook mobile or myspace mobile by typing in m.facebook/m.myspace.com

I have a windows 7 computer. I would like to download dvds, like for example monsters vs. aliens. I already own the dvd, so when I put it in my computer how do I download the dvd so I can put it on my psp ( in mp4 format ). Thanks .

oh you mean convert it to mp4 format. use imtoo dvd to psp converter, works especially for psp, although they have lots of formats that is usable on ipods etc. http://www.imtoo.com/dvd-to-psp-converter.html

I’ve accidentally upgraded my psp 2000 chckhen to ofw 6.20, right now I couldn’t play any downloadable games, using a umd is a pain in the ass. I hope someone would answer my question.

Perhaps through Mac’s ‘Create Wireless Network’ function? I’ve tried this but apparently my PSP does not detect the network created by my Macbook.

My guess is that the PSP only looks for Internet access sites, however I was planning to make it my test dummy for the websites I’m developing (since it has inferior resolution than pc’s) on the go without dragging a USB cable everywhere.

Well you can, but first you need to SSH into it. I have an Iphone if you don’t know what SSH means it just basically means that you can get into your computer from your PSP.
-before you do that you need to download a software and do need to connect it to your computer. After that you don’t, I use my PSP as a Mouse or keyboard for my computer, but if you are planing to just SSH and put games or videos in your psp go to
PSPerspective.net, they have applications such as

-Universal Remote controll for your PSP
-Google Earth
-Iphone for PSP
-and a way to control and see your Computer screen on your PSP.

I was just searching for the same exact answer & I stumbled upon your question. So, i decided to share my findings with you! Please keep in mind that I have yet to look at the whole video myself, but wanted to share it w/ you too seeing how you asked the questions 11 hours ago and nobody has given u a solution.
