How To Install:
1.Download it
2.Extract it
3.Copy the 550.PBP To MS Root what u see when u open up the psp folder(ms root is not a folder and do not put it in MP_ROOT)
4.Copy Update under PSP/Games/Update in the file to PSP/Games
5.Run the installer and click enter then click on install flash CFW 5.50 gen-D3 (the first option)
6.Wait for it to load
7.Click Reboot or Shutdown
8.You Have the new CFW!!
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE THIS PROGRAM ON TA088v3 PSP-2000 and PSP-3000 IN DANGER OF FULLY BRICKING YOUR PSP.
This installer works on any PSP-1000(phat psp) or PSP-2000(psp slim) already custom firmware 4.01 M33 or higher (as 5.00M33 example) unless the 5.50GEN-B (1). You can install directly 5.50GEN-D3 since all these firmwares, without intermediate stages except the 5.50GEN-B (1) where it will, first, install the Custom Firmware 5.50GEN-B2 can then switch 5.50GEN -D3.
Do not leave a custom theme on your PSP.
Do not leave screen custom
Run with 75%.

Improvements in the final version:

•Patch to remove the bug VSH menuEveryone can now enjoy the content of his Memory Stick
•Update on backups that were seen as corrupt.
•Improved access speed Memory Stick during a game session
•Added support for IRSHELL D3 which will release shortly

Changes:
This new PSP Custom Firmware 5.50 GEN-D3 will give users more compatibility for the latest ISO and CSO game suppport that require highers firmware then 5.55 .

This release should also be able to connect to the PSN store now with this new PSP Custom Firmware 5.50 GEN-D3 release .

I seen on youtube some body that had a psp that wasn’t even upgraded ( a phat psp) and they clicked into youtube and started playing videos like it was a lap top . It nearly drove me nuts that i couldn’t do it or figure it out and want to know is there anyone that can tell me how to play youtube videos regularly . the person in the video didn’t use any custom firmware at all

I guess no one will give you info you want so I guess I will. Unless you have 2.80 firmware or lower you will have to use the system I am about to show you. This system won’t brick your PSP so don’t worry about messing up your PSP. First you need a Pandora Battery and a Magic Memory Stick. This is the website I used: http://pandorasale.net/home I guarrentee they work very good. After they arive in the mail take out your battery and memory stick in. Next put the Magic Memory Stick and then Pandora Battery in your PSP. Now your PSP will update to CFW 4.01 or 5.00. Then you can play homebrew games, ISOs, CSOs, N64, NES, PSX games, and a LOT MORE! i was wondering whether there were sites that let you download PSP movies for free. OR, there was a site that lets you share movies you’ve already bought or something

You could try wikiblast.net they have plenty of free movies that are available for download and to watch online. And you can watch them on your psp with an internet connection

I know lots of people say that you need custom firmware to download and play psp games, but I really just don’t want to go through that trouble.
I really just want to download and play Dragon Ball Z Shin Budokai: Another Road but I don’t have the money to get it cause I spent it on Dragon Ball Shin Budokai.
Please is their another way to download and play them without custom firmware?
