I have a windows 7 computer. I would like to download dvds, like for example monsters vs. aliens. I already own the dvd, so when I put it in my computer how do I download the dvd so I can put it on my psp ( in mp4 format ). Thanks .

oh you mean convert it to mp4 format. use imtoo dvd to psp converter, works especially for psp, although they have lots of formats that is usable on ipods etc. http://www.imtoo.com/dvd-to-psp-converter.html

I’ve accidentally upgraded my psp 2000 chckhen to ofw 6.20, right now I couldn’t play any downloadable games, using a umd is a pain in the ass. I hope someone would answer my question.

Perhaps through Mac’s ‘Create Wireless Network’ function? I’ve tried this but apparently my PSP does not detect the network created by my Macbook.

My guess is that the PSP only looks for Internet access sites, however I was planning to make it my test dummy for the websites I’m developing (since it has inferior resolution than pc’s) on the go without dragging a USB cable everywhere.

Well you can, but first you need to SSH into it. I have an Iphone if you don’t know what SSH means it just basically means that you can get into your computer from your PSP.
-before you do that you need to download a software and do need to connect it to your computer. After that you don’t, I use my PSP as a Mouse or keyboard for my computer, but if you are planing to just SSH and put games or videos in your psp go to
PSPerspective.net, they have applications such as

-Universal Remote controll for your PSP
-Google Earth
-Iphone for PSP
-and a way to control and see your Computer screen on your PSP.

I was just searching for the same exact answer & I stumbled upon your question. So, i decided to share my findings with you! Please keep in mind that I have yet to look at the whole video myself, but wanted to share it w/ you too seeing how you asked the questions 11 hours ago and nobody has given u a solution. I wanted to trade in my PSP – 1000 for a DS and since they are offering $30 extra dollars for trading in old hardware for new, I ask how much did you recieve in cash or credit, preferable credit?

Doesnt matter to me if it has been a month or so just post the amount and the date, that would really help me out a ton.

The price that Gamestop will give you won’t worth it. Most people who had traded their PlayStation Portable don’t receive as much money. Depending on your PlayStation you might receive at most 50 bucks. I’m sure that price won’t worth your PlaySation Portable because it cost you more than 50 bucks. If you really in a need for the money then sell it but if not just wait because you might find a better deal especially at school. Another way to make more money from it is to sell it separately. Sell someone the battery and all the components separately. When you sum it, you’ll make more money than the price that Gamestop will give you.

There’s a story behind this one, but the honest truth is that this wasn’t the game I originally wanted to do videos of. I wanted to do videos of Mega Man: Powered Up for PSP, but I’ve been long unable to do them due to lacking the proper materials to do a proper playthrough. Unless I was to mod my PSP (which I am strongly against doing), it seemed almost impossible to do them.

… until now. Apparently my recording equipment fine with the PSPGo and the cables that you can buy for it, unlike the original PSP. Until they put Mega Man Powered Up on the Playstation Network, this was the only other game I was very interested in doing videos for as far as the PSP is concerned… for now, anyways. For now, enjoy some Mega Man: Maverick Hunter X.

i just bought a PSP Go, and i want to know how to mod it, i cant find any tutorials. i had a moded psp before but i can spend all my money on those games again.

The PSP Go has been hacked, but it’s being kept under wraps as to prevent Sony from patching the exploit. You shouldn’t expect a public release for a long time, if ever.
